LabSolue, a perfume laboratory created by sisters descended from a historic Italian cosmetics brand, will debut in Japan on March 17, 2021, with a limited-time pop-up at the Isetan Shinjuku store, marking its first foray outside of Italy. UPPER HOUSE Co., Ltd. (8-9 Daikanyamacho, Shibuya-ku, Representative Director: Joy Yasumatsu), which develops brands such as MARVIS, SENSORI+, and LeTan, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with LabSolue and will begin selling the brand in Japan on the same day. Following the exclusive sale at Isetan Shinjuku, the brand will be available through its online store, select shops, and other outlets from April 1st. Joy Yasumatsu, who previously brought the body care brand SABON to Japan in 2008, aims to similarly grow LabSolue in Japan.



◎The Story of LabSolue
Sisters Giorgia and Ambra Marton are descendants of the Marton family who founded the historic Italian cosmetics brand "Marvin." Their love of perfume and art inspired them to want to create a new perfume laboratory, and so LabSolue was born. LabSolue was born from the fictional combination of "Laboratory" and "Absolue," and combines Marvin's artistic antique pharmacy image with the sisters' incredible aesthetic sense, adding a new dimension of joy.

The high-quality fragrances, blended by world-renowned star perfumers using traditional Italian methods, invite and captivate people into a magical experience.



◎From the world's first Perfume Hotel
A unique place to remember our origins is found in "Genius Loci", located in the Tortona district of Milan. Home to our production headquarters and the former Merton family perfume factory, we now have the world's first "Parfum Hotel", with 60 rooms, the same number as LabSolue's fragrance collection, adjacent to our perfume laboratory.


At the hotel, each room is assigned a different scent, and not only the scent of the amenities but also the room design and image are created for each scent, providing an unforgettable olfactory experience and a special place that fills your emotions. The number assigned to the name of each scent is linked to the room number at Parfum Hotel.


◎Welcome to the world of LabSolue fragrances
LabSolue fragrances are categorized into three categories: "Flower," "Fruits & Aromatics," and "Wood," with 24 fragrances initially available in Japan.
Images of flowers, fragrant fruits, subtle woody scents, and the sublime sweetness they create in harmony. LabSolue perfumes reflect the brand's philosophy of blending nature with the art of perfumery.

Each fragrance is bottled in a classic glass reminiscent of Marvin's history and presented in a luxurious gift box made from elegant textured paper, similar to the absorbent paper used for mouettes.

The "Flower" collection is adorned with pink gold, the "Fruits & Aromatics" with yellow gold, and the "Wood" with bronze, completing the exquisite gift.

The home fragrance diffuser bottles and candle jars are designed to be reused as original vases.
[Recycle]
The home fragrance and eau de parfum series are packaged in recyclable glass bottles. The bath collection and hand gel are made from high-quality recyclable plastic, rather than glass, to ensure safe use during bath time and in bags.
[Accessories and Packaging]
The aroma diffuser comes with bamboo sticks made from natural rattan. The original gift boxes, wrapping materials, accompanying cards, and shopping bags that the products are packaged in are all made from the same refined, high-quality paper material used for the mouettes, embodying the brand's unique worldview. The artisan-made aroma candles are handmade using vegetable wax. The colors and ingredients are 100% natural, and the wicks are woven from 100% pure cotton without any metals.
