A three-day seminar exploring "Fashion Designers' Image Theory" will be held at the IMA CONCEPT STORE in Roppongi.
The event will explore "Fashion Designers' Image Theory," including topics such as "What is the meaning of campaign photos?" and "How do they control their brand image?" through a talk show with photographers, directors, and editors who are close friends of the designers.
Starting at 8:00 PM on October 30th, ANREALAGE designer Kunihiko Morinaga and photographer Yoshiyuki Okuyama will appear. ANREALAGE will be participating in Paris Fashion Week for the first time on the official schedule in September this year. They will discuss how to create a fashion image for a brand, based on show footage and backstage coverage.
Starting at 8:00 PM on November 2nd, TARO HORIUCHI designer Taro Horiuchi will be in conversation with GINZA editor-in-chief Toshiko Nakajima. Nakajima works on the cultural magazine "relax," which influenced Horiuchi in his late teens and early twenties. The two will discuss what it means to be Tokyo from a cultural perspective, with a focus on fashion. Starting at 8:00 PM on November 11th, "mame" designer Maiko Kurokawa and Takahiro Fujita, director of the theater group "Mum and Gypsy," will appear. Kurokawa has won the Mainichi Fashion Award, and Fujita the Kishida Drama Award, and they are both attracting attention in their twenties. The two, who are the same age, will explore fashion and women's values. Both sessions will be hosted by Madoka Hattori, editor and founder of the web magazine "ilove.cot," which focuses on cats and creators. Applications for each talk show can be made by the day before the event, or by October 30th for those wishing to attend all the shows, on the official "ima Concept Store" website. The general admission fee is 2,500 yen, but regular subscribers to the photography magazine "IMA" can take the course for 2,250 yen.
