Paul Smith is releasing a limited edition scarf in collaboration with the rock band Led Zeppelin.
This collaboration commemorates the release of the sequel to Led Zeppelin's latest remastering series. In addition to the cover art from the three albums already released in the project, which began in June, a total of six new artworks will be printed on large scarves.
The black-and-white photograph of the Hindenburg airship used on the cover of the album "Led Zeppelin I" is reproduced using photo-woven fabric. A red fil coupe is used as an accent detail. Meanwhile, the colorful cover design for the second album uses four different threads of varying quality and thickness. The psychedelic design of the third album is also recreated with beautiful curves by Bouk and Meriwool.
The sequel to the remastering series, released on the 29th, will feature jacquard weaving of the visuals. New, entirely original designs are scheduled to be released afterwards, bringing the total to six scarves. Each scarf design will be sold in limited quantities of 50 worldwide, priced at 73,000 yen. They will be available from October 23rd on the Paul Smith official website and at Paul Smith Albemarle Street in London. In Japan, they will also be available at Paul Smith SPACE.
