Starting September 30th, the Isetan Shinjuku store's first-floor accessory department launched the "Adult Costume" campaign in select areas, showcasing the latest accessory and fashion styles. In this campaign, staff from popular costume accessory brands like Soierie, ADER, GRANDMATIC, and ete perle will wear recommended accessories with casual outfits and offer realistic outfit suggestions. Previously, all attendees in the department were required to wear suits. However, this new sales style was realized in response to the staff's desire to "make accessories more accessible and enjoyable." Four brands previously scattered across the first floor have been gathered in one location, and the store will continue to showcase the latest accessory and fashion styles. Each of the selected brands represents "large accessories for adults." Soiree, a couture accessory brand created by designer Akiko Sugihara, blends classic elements with futuristic designs.
Adele, a Paris-based brand, offers a lineup of antique-inspired, chic colors. Deep greens and rich brass materials are sure to become must-have items for fall and winter.
Grandmatic, directed by Michiko Nakayama, designer of MUVEIL, offers one-of-a-kind vintage and remade pieces that Nakayama traveled to America and Europe to purchase. The nostalgic feel comes from the concept of jewelry beloved by grandmas.
ete perle, which just opened at the Isetan Shinjuku store in September, is a brand specializing in pearls. It offers a new, casual selection of pearl accessories, including "color dresses" worn over shirts like detachable collars.
