"Girls' Jewelry Tokyo," a jewelry and accessory exhibition sponsored by Reed Exhibitions Japan, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for four days from January 21st to 24th. This third edition of the exhibition features cutting-edge brands, trendy jewelry, and high-end accessories. Last year, 27,157 shop buyers from jewelry shops, department stores, apparel stores, and shopping malls across the country, catering to young women, attended the event to purchase new products, introduce new brands, and place OEM orders. In recent years, the jewelry industry has seen an increase in companies offering affordable jewelry to attract younger generations. Meanwhile, in the accessories industry, an increasing number of companies are willing to offer products with a focus on design, even if it means slightly higher prices. To meet this demand, a new category of "girls' jewelry" has been created, offering products that are "lighter than jewelry and more luxurious than accessories." Demand for girls' jewelry has been growing year by year. The exhibition is also attracting attention as a trendsetting venue, attracting numerous media outlets for coverage.
Girls Jewelry Tokyo also launched a news site called "GIRLS JEWELLERY NEWS" this spring on its blog, Facebook page and official website. It disseminates information about the exhibition, exhibited products, and general information about girls' jewelry.
This year, 30,000 visitors are expected. The number of exhibitors is expected to double from last year to 150, and full-scale recruitment of exhibitors began in September.
