Dior will hold the exhibition "Esprit Dior - The World of Dior" in Tokyo's Ginza district from October 30th. This exhibition introduces the world of the Dior house through 12 keywords symbolizing the Dior spirit, as well as photographs by longtime Dior photographer Patrick Demarchelier, archival dresses and other documents, video footage, and demonstrations by artisans. Keywords include the "Dior Atelier," offering a glimpse into the production of haute couture; the "Dior Garden," a source of inspiration for Dior; and "Stars Who Wore Dior," such as Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe. The exhibition offers an opportunity to explore the appeal of the house from multiple angles, from the imaginative world of Christian Dior, who was familiar with Japanese culture from a young age, to the creations that have been passed down from 1947 to the present-day Raf Simons.
