
IMA CONCEPT STORE, a photography-focused gallery and cafe complex in Roppongi, Tokyo, will host a talk event titled "LIVING WITH PHOTOGRAPHY: From Looking at Art to Buying Art." This event will feature four guests discussing how photography inspires and brings joy to their daily lives. These prominent figures in creative fields will share their art photography collections, including how they incorporate photography into their lives. The first part of the event will feature commercial creative director Satoshi Takamatsu and editor-in-chief of Bijutsu Techo magazine, Teiya Iwabuchi. Under the title "From Looking at Art to Buying Art: The First Step to Becoming a Collector," they will discuss what inspired them to start collecting. Other talks will include "The Relationship Between Art and Interior Design: LIVING WITH PHOTOGRAPHY Around the World" by interior stylist Masato Kawai and "What Should You Do? How to Store Art" by Tsunehiro Ihara of Warehouse Terrada.
Part 1 is scheduled to start at 12:00, followed by lunch and the remaining sessions.
