HYKE and adidas Originals have announced the launch of a collaborative line called "adidas Originals by HYKE."
This collaborative line reimagines the heritage of adidas Originals' sportswear and products with a modern perspective, while incorporating the individuality of both brands. It will be available worldwide for three seasons, starting with Spring/Summer 2015. The lineup will include apparel and sneakers.
HYKE, a brand designed by Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Oide, launched its predecessor, "green," in 1998. Its simple, minimalist, denim-focused line garnered attention and popularity, but sadly went on hiatus in 2009. After three years, the brand changed its name to "HYKE" and made a comeback in 2013. Since the 2014-15 AW season, HYKE has also continued to release its collaboration line with Mackintosh, "MACKINTOSH x HYKE."
