To coincide with the grand opening of the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store next spring, Kintetsu Department Store will be undergoing a major renovation of HOOP, which began last spring, further strengthening its three-store structure consisting of Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store, HOOP, and and. HOOP opened in September 2000 with a floor area of 14,000 square meters. Based on the store concept of a "New Personal Style Editing Center for Adults," it features a collection of high-end shops aimed primarily at stylish adults in their 20s and 30s. New additions announced for the spring reopening include Banana Republic on the second floor (opening April 26th), ABC Mart on the fifth floor, and Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren, Masterpiece, Onitsuka Tiger, Avirex, and Stüssy on the third floor, with eight new stores and four renovated stores planned.

The completion and opening is scheduled for three stages from late April to late July, with the investment for this renovation estimated at approximately 100 million yen and an annual increase in revenue of approximately 650 million yen.

In addition to the early opening of the "Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Building Tower Building" this summer, Kintetsu Department Store has also announced renovations of its Nara store, Kintetsu Passe (Nagoya store), and Yokkaichi store in addition to Hoop.
