Alice & Olivia to hold six-month event at Isetan Shinjuku, featuring limited edition items such as cherry blossom print dresses

Mar 13, 2013

Alice + Olivia, which just arrived in Japan in the Fall/Winter 2012 season, is holding a six-month event at the East Park on the second floor of Isetan Shinjuku. Each month features a different theme, with interior décor and limited-edition merchandise tailored to each theme. The first installment, titled "UNIVERSITY OF ALICE + OLIVIA," features a selection of school-themed items. The event runs until Tuesday, March 26th. A cherry blossom-inspired print dress (48,300 yen) and top (34,650 yen) are available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku. Four types of nail stickers (1,995 yen), including cherry blossom and polka dot and stripe designs, are also available. Customers who spend over 31,500 yen will also receive an original iPhone case or a set of three notebooks (limited quantities).

The brand was founded by Stacey Bendet in 2002. Shortly after its launch, Andrew Rosen, founder of Theory, became a business partner and has since expanded the business.

In addition to womenswear, a shoe line was launched in 2011 and is loved by Gwyneth Patrou, Fergie, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, and Taylor Swift.

The brand is sold in over 800 department stores and specialty stores worldwide, and in Japan it is handled by Look Co., Ltd., and is available at Isetan Shinjuku and Hankyu Umeda Main Store, as well as at Ginza Mitsukoshi from March 27th and Yokohama Takashimaya on April 24th.
