On March 6th, the Isetan Shinjuku store held its grand opening, unveiling the almost entirely renovated second-floor women's clothing section.
Based on the concept of sharing Tokyo's latest trends, the following departments have opened: "Park," "Isetan Girl," "Tokyo Closet," "Global Closet," "Urban Closet," and "Strawberry Shop."
... The opening includes "Jenny Fax Farm" (until the 19th), featuring Tokyo brand Jenny Fax, and "Spur Land" (until the 12th), an event for Shueisha's magazine "Spur."
The girly Isetan Girl area, with purple ribbons fluttering from the ceiling and columns, features a miscellaneous goods selection zone featuring designer Keito Sakai and a dress corner featuring Jill Stuart's new line, "Jill Stuart White Line."
Tokyo Closet, which brings together trendy brands, features the new selection shop "Re-Style Tokyo" and a Tokyo Designers' Selection Zone. The former offers best-selling brands such as "KAON," "Laula," and "FLORENT," while the latter offers brands such as "mintdesigns," "beautifulpeople," "LIMI feu," and "toricot COMME des GARÇONS." Global Closet has a collection of denim from over 30 brands. A promotion is currently underway in collaboration with the popular New York brand Black Denim (BLK DNM) and the magazine The Gazette. It also houses a bar called The Stand, where champagne and third-wave coffee are served. Additionally, the Tomio Koyama Gallery is exhibiting throughout the floor, showcasing works by its artists.
