Givenchy's creative director, Riccardo Tisci, has designed the costumes for Rihanna's ongoing Diamonds World Tour. The haute couture pieces, specially designed for the tour, are inspired by the brand's Fall/Winter 2013 men's collection. They feature distinctive iconography and combine the brand's signature streetwear with haute couture elements. Tisci explains that he infused the entire Givenchy aesthetic into the costumes, from the design details to the tailoring and shape. "Rihanna represents the splendor of youth today. She's punk and talented. She combines intelligence, energy, and true beauty. Rihanna has what girls want, and she's the face of her generation," Tisci says.
