"Throughout the collection, I explore and reflect the contrasting natural elements that I love, combining the romance and beauty of nature, functionality and practicality. I am intrigued by traditional British dress codes and reinterpreting them. Camouflage prints are softened to blend with the natural environment and are combined with structured tailoring, romantic florals, British embroidered details and animal prints. This collection captures the dynamism, colours and textures of nature - the ultimate outdoor wear."
Riccardo Tisci, Chief Creative Officer, Burberry
The collection is inspired by Burberry's connection to the outdoors, which has been at the heart of Burberry since the brand was founded by Thomas Burberry - exploring and pioneering new worlds. Riccardo Tisci continues this tradition by juxtaposing disparate elements—camouflage printed on trench coats and mesh bodysuits, floral prints on field jackets, cargo pants, short-sleeved shirts, and jogging pants—and evolves familiar pieces and house codes with a modern sensibility in this eclectic mix.
