For Autumn 2024, Daniel Lee further strengthens Burberry's vision. Driven by attitude and elevated by fabrics and details, the collection is rooted in British culture - its archetypes, iconography and people. From traditional icons to new signatures, house codes are revisited. A muted, classic colour palette is enhanced with earth tones, reinterpreting the Burberry check.

The collection embodies relaxed elegance, with relaxed proportions and lightweight fabrics perfect for layering as the seasons change. Trench coats are crafted from silk twill and wool, with belts removed for added volume and cut longer, while protective versions are crafted from shearling and technical blends in classic Burberry colours.

Shearling aviator coats and jackets, reinterpreted as sleeveless or scarves, pay tribute to aviation heritage. Leather styles trimmed with shearling and faux fur draw inspiration from the history of motorsportswear. Archetypal British coats and jackets are tailored into more formal silhouettes, including a wool duffle coat in new checked colors, a functional cotton field jacket, and parkas in different lengths crafted from cotton and garment-dyed canvas. A denim and wool-blend checked Harrington jacket is belted at the waist.

The garments are relaxed, functional and protective. Wool capes, dresses and herringbone shirts feature press-stud rolled collars inspired by the motorcoat archives. Slip dresses are made of voile wool and trimmed with wool lace, making them suitable for outerwear. Thoughtful details are also unexpected. Zips secure the shape of pleated skirts or serve as buttons on double-breasted coats and tailored jackets. Cargo trousers are crafted from garment-dyed cotton and feature press studs down the sides. The night bag is reimagined as a grained calf leather mini skirt.

The collection is anchored by a high-neck wool-mohair sweater, brushed for warmth and comfort. A wool tassel blanket scarf features a woven "knight on horseback" design and check. Seasonal micro-prints recreate British icons, including a postbox and a bird's-eye view of a double-decker bus. Crepe jersey and velvet wrap dresses are studded with eyelets and floral cut-outs. A loose-fitting dress in crinkled crepe features a camouflage print with a fuzzy watercolor effect and crushed stud detailing.

Shoes feature generic shapes played with exaggerated proportions. The new Wedge high-heeled loafer features a moccasin construction and a chunky curved sole. The leather Buck shoe features a rubber sole and double monk straps.

Equestrian-inspired Stirrup boots are cut above the ankle or knee for outdoor functionality. New arrivals include the rubber Boulder boot with Burberry check side panels, the thick suede Log shoe, the shearling rubber-soled Snug boot and the Burberry check Pillow mule.

The kitten-heeled B Minnie and strappy Slinky sandals are trimmed with faux fur and chain, and are also available as stretch leather over-the-knee boots. Crafted from nappa leather, the Duck pumps, Chisel mules and slingbacks feature a metal "B" toe cap and are both decorated with studded floral cut-outs.

The structured Shield Case bag is new to the collection, while the Mini Shield Sling Bag is finished with tassels on both sides. The Night Bag returns, along with a new Rocking Horse Tote in suede with a leather top handle. There's also a new leather Snip clutch, and the iconic Burberry Trench Tote is available in leather and garment-dyed cotton canvas. Bag colors range from outdoor influences like Loch, Hazel, Thicket and Military to pops of rich hues like Kingfisher.

Geometric designs intertwine in jewellery. The B Collection features chain-link Burberry initials on bracelets and earrings. The Shield Collection introduces slim earrings and new stone-set infinity rings, necklaces and hoop earrings. Hollow graphic rings and earrings feature diamond shapes. Armour earrings feature pavé-set spheres within a curved cage structure.
