Inspired by the faded interiors and bohemian elements of English country houses, Daniel Lee's latest collection is rooted in classicism, traditional dress codes and long rainy walks in the great outdoors. It also expands on the interpretation of the raincoat, with distinctive silhouettes crafted from shrunken damask jacquard, shirred patchwork checks or cropped embossed and embroidered leather. Jacquard trenches are inspired by tapestries from historic mansions.

Robes and smoking jackets, perfect for indoor and outdoor wear, are transformed into soft, tailored coats in cashmere and mohair wool, with chunky knit shawl collars, layered over silk pyjama shirts and trousers. Velvet brocade, reminiscent of Rococo wallpaper designs, is featured in equestrian-inspired coats and suits.

Timeless pieces are reinterpreted. Faux astrakhan and silk organza feathers trim twill and tweed military coats. Thistle corsages are pinned to the lapels.

Burberry's outerwear heritage is also reimagined. Parkas are crafted from leather, capes are reimagined with trench elements in knit and velvety shearling, and quilted jackets are refreshed in geranium print and metallic nylon. Cashmere Harrington jackets, car coats and dresses are styled with the signature Burberry scarf and accessorized with chunky fringe accessories.

A rich colour palette of tapestry brown and deer taupe is joined by punkish red and yellow, alder green and maize green. A tartan-inspired check pattern appears in wool, continuing on to Burberry check, yarn-dyed fabrics and intarsia leather.

Savile Row-inspired tailoring features birdseye wool and corduroy, synonymous with the British countryside, while jodhpur trousers and pleated kilts emphasize an outdoor aesthetic. Donegal wool and brushed Shetland wool are used in roll-neck innerwear and ribbed knit tracksuits. Craftsmanship brings playfulness and romanticism to dresses, from velvet damask dresses to gathered silhouettes trimmed with crepe de chine. Peacock prints are hand-cut to create a feathery effect, and delicate lacework is reconstructed with beads.

Footwear that navigates the grounds, walking freely through the state rooms and gardens. Shapes synonymous with the countryside are reimagined with fabrics that mimic luxurious interiors, animal print shearling and embossed leather. Equestrian-inspired boots such as the Cavalier, Ledger and Manor are available in textured leather and Burberry check intarsia leather, and are available above the knee or at ankle length. Redefining classic British style, pumps feature a pointed toe inspired by 18th-century court shoes. Lace-up and monk-strap brogues feature studded, durable rubber soles. The slip-on Estate, reminiscent of a house shoe, features velvet quilting, tartan and penny loafer details.
