Celebrating its 15th anniversary, sacai will be holding the event "sacai THE Showcase" from the 13th to the 19th at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku. This "showcase" project, a tangible manifestation of designer Chitose Abe's mind, delves into the brand's roots. It aims to unravel the brand's concept of "design founded on the everyday" and what sacai considers meaningful design. The space and image were created in collaboration with Teppei Kaneuji, an artist garnering attention both in Japan and overseas. Five limited-edition items, including cut-and-sew dresses and cardigans, incorporating his unique collage techniques and ideas, as well as two accessories, will be on sale. Accessories include brooches and jewels combining prints and stones, as well as items incorporating sacai's signature blend of different materials.

Kim was born in 1978 and lives in Kyoto. He collects ready-made everyday items and toys, and creates works by repeatedly dismantling and reassembling them according to his own rules. He is also planning to hold a solo exhibition in Beijing in June of this year.
