Led by Abe Chitose, sacai presented its 2013-14 Fall/Winter men's collection in Paris. The collection showcased a modern take on classic men's styles, reinterpreted in the brand's own unique style. Two types of herringbone were the focus of the outerwear collection. Chesterfield jackets, pea coats, and three-piece suits were padded for warmth. Duffle coats and Norfolk jackets featured a crisp texture thanks to a kemp blend. Sporty elements were incorporated into the classic style, with items featuring drawstring hems and quilted fabrics with shirt details. Other items featured included fleece coats and sweatshirts. The color palette was based on deep autumn/winter tones like charcoal gray, khaki, brown, and navy, with bright red, yellow, and blue accents. A wide range of patterns are also proposed, including jacquard knitwear sprayed with color blocks, pants and knitwear made from paisley scarf fabric, and a check series with different woven colors in different parts. The brand also showcases playful use of fabrics, such as knitwear and cut-and-sew pieces that use a flocked print rather than a knitted version of the classic Aran sweater pattern.
The brand has also produced its first shoes, featuring double monk strap shoes created in collaboration with French brand Paraboot.
