
"Esprit de Paris 2013," an omnibus photo exhibition by photographer Daido Moriyama and others, has been running since March 1st at the Hotel Chinzanso in Mejiro, Tokyo. It features 21 images of Paris, a city that has always been a fresh and fascinating subject for photographers. Participants include Daido Moriyama, who is highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas and is also active in education, such as presiding over the "resist." Photography School; Hiroaki Ishii, known for his monochrome prints; and Yukinori Tokoro, who has been featured in European and American photo magazines. The exhibition features a diverse international lineup of eight photographers, including French photographers Jean-Marc Tingaud and Michel Frapier, female photographer Sarah Moon, Robert Frank, who has shot fashion photos for COMME des GARÇONS magazine SIX, and Paris-based photographer Kozo Yano.
