Fruits and Season Co., Ltd. will open Japan's first vegan fruit sandwich specialty store, "Fruits and Season" (takeout only), in Ebisu, Shibuya Ward on January 13, 2021.
■ Truly delicious fruits that let you feel the season. - Made with carefully selected fruits by Daiwa Supermarket The main fruit is selected at the market every morning by Daiwa Supermarket, a greengrocer in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, known for its fruit sandwich specialty store, Daiwa Nakameguro, which has long lines of customers waiting to get in. Some of the fruit is delivered directly from farmers, allowing us to deliver sandwiches made with the most delicious seasonal fruit at reasonable prices. We are also mindful of food waste and use whole fruit wherever possible, and we also offer sandwiches that make use of uneven parts such as the edges (but they're delicious!). There are usually around 10 different items on the menu. The average price is 650 yen each. Year-round menu: Mandarin oranges 680 yen / pineapple 580 yen / kiwi fruit 650 yen / mango 1,350 yen / banana 420 yen (All prices excluding tax.) *Prices may change depending on the supply situation.

In response to growing awareness of safe and secure food and the growing diversity of food preferences, "fruits and season" has developed vegan fruit sandwiches that do not contain animal products such as milk or eggs. Made with homemade soy milk-based cream and original soy milk bread, they have about one-third the calories of a regular fruit sandwich. We offer fruit sandwiches that you can enjoy wholeheartedly, guilt-free.

■Various sales methods to suit diverse lifestyles
In addition to physical stores that are takeout-only and offer completely cashless payment, the company also accepts delivery (Uber Eats, Wolt). For customers in far away places or as gifts, online sales will also begin in limited areas from Monday, January 18th (Monday). (Orders are made to order; orders must be placed by Monday and delivered on Saturday or Sunday. See the official website for details.) A pre-payment app is also being developed to reduce waiting times in stores (scheduled to be launched next spring).
