Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be selling limited-time Easter chocolates at the Fiorentina Pastry Boutique on the first floor from March 15th to 31st. The new chocolates this time feature rabbits, who are said to bring Easter eggs, and chickens, who lay them. They come in three flavors: white, sweet, and milk. The Easter bunny comes in three sizes: large (4,000 yen), medium (2,800 yen), and small (1,200 yen), while the chicken comes in a single large size (4,000 yen). Also available this year are Easter eggs (small 1,800 yen, medium 5,000 yen) filled with marshmallows and chocolate, decorated with adorable illustrations for children. Additionally, fish-shaped sweets, eaten in France on April 1st, will be available from April 1st to 30th. In France, April Fool's Day is called "Poisson d'Avril (April fish)" and it is customary to eat sweets and dishes shaped like mackerel. This time, the shop will be releasing "Poisson d'Avril" (3,500 yen), a fish-shaped apple pie filled with plenty of fruit pulp.
