ISSEY MIYAKE has produced a movie for its new "Ring Pleats Series" for its AW14-15 collection. Art director Koichiro Tsujikawa has created a seven-minute work that expresses the world of the series, with music by Cornelius.

The series was unveiled at the start of the AW14-15 collection show, which was themed around "Rhythmatic Forest - The Heartbeat of the Forest" and expressed the majestic beauty of forests. The series uses "ring pleats," a curved pleating technique inspired by tree rings, and when placed flat, it transforms into a compact tree ring-like shape.

A special website has also been opened, which, in addition to the movie, offers a screensaver download and a feature to share the movie (mobile version only). In addition, visuals will appear in the concourse of Omotesando Station from June 30th, and special displays will also be on display at ISSEY MIYAKE AOYAMA, ISSEY MIYAKE SEMBA, ELTTOB TEP ISSEY MIYAKE GINZA, and the front window of Matsuya Ginza Main Store (all from July 1st), and ISSEY MIYAKE KOBE (from July 8th).
