Culture Convenience Club and Mitsui Fudosan will open the Kashiwa-no-ha T-SITE, a multi-purpose commercial facility (595 Shorenji, Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, Chuo 139-gai 1, and 227-7 Wakashiba, Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, Chuo 142-gai 1) in the fall of 2016 in Kashiwa Smart City, Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture.

Inheriting the DNA of Daikanyama T-SITE, this lifestyle-oriented entertainment facility will provide a place for interaction between visitors, local residents, employees, and university-affiliated individuals. Centered around Magazine Street, the facility will incorporate waterfront and greenery, and will house bookstores, cafes, and shops that deliver the latest global information and lifestyle information to intellectually curious adults.

Kashiwa-no-ha Smart City aims to be an open platform for everyone, based on collaboration between the public sector (Chiba Prefecture and Kashiwa City), the private sector (businesses and residents), and the academic sector (University of Tokyo and Chiba University). The facility will include the office space "KOIL (Kashiwanoha Open Innovation Lab)," the commercial facility "LaLaport Kashiwanoha," and the accommodation facility "Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwanoha" with various conference rooms.
