This gentle-tasting Japanese-style chocolate is made by cooking fresh ginger from Yanbaru (Yamahara) in northern Okinawa with sugarcane sugar and drizzling it with chocolate flavored with shell ginger that grows wild in the company's own fields. Shell ginger is a plant of the ginger family that is used in cooking and tea in Okinawa.
