A close-up event for REKISAMI, a women's brand by designer Chika Kisada, is being held at Re-Style on the third floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store from the 27th to March 5th. The entrance to Re-Style features limited-edition mod coats and blouses, as well as dance shoes made with lavish tulle in collaboration with Australian ballet shoe manufacturer Block, which are currently on sale. Looks from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection are projected around pillars. Racks display this season's apparel, including delicate lace vests and blouses and the classic Gobelin coat. Also on display is a remade T-shirt series exclusive to Isetan. This T-shirt features a peplum or ruffle sewn into the hem and a necklace adorned with pearls and jewels. Because it's a remade item, it's difficult to produce many of them, but the pieces and details change each season.
A representative from Lexami says, "We strive to create products using meticulous techniques and without sparing any effort. Our attention to detail, even in invisible parts like the linings and pocket linings, as well as our hand-embroidered designs, show the delicacy you expect from a female designer, and it seems to hit the spot with our customers. Our main target is people in their mid-30s to 40s, but we have a wide range of customers. I think we live in an age where people will buy something if it suits their taste, regardless of age. We believe that the brand's taste matches the sensibilities of a wide range of people."
Prices range from 40,000 to 60,000 yen for jackets and coats, 30,000 yen for bottoms, 20,000 to 30,000 yen for blouses, and 30,000 to 40,000 yen for dresses. In addition to Isetan Shinjuku, our products are sold at select shops nationwide, including H.P. FRANCE, Barneys New York Shinjuku, and Valveat 81.
