Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's first costume exhibition will be held at Roppongi Hills from March 1st.
This large-scale exhibition event will be packed with the world of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, including costumes worn in music videos produced by Yasutaka Nakata, such as "Tsukema Tsukeru," "Fashion Monster," and "Furisodeshon," as well as the large-scale costumes that became a hot topic at the Red and White Song Battle, and even the set for her solo concerts. An audio guide by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu herself will also be available to rent for 500 yen.
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, who turned 20 last month, began her career as a Harajuku model after being snapped in a fashion magazine in Harajuku while still a high school student. In 2011, she made her debut as a singer, produced by Yasutaka Nakata, who also produced songs for Capsule and Perfume. Her mini-album "Moshi Moshi Harajuku" was released simultaneously in 23 countries around the world, creating a buzz, and her full-length album "Pamyu Pamyu Revolution," released last May, debuted at number one on the Oricon charts and also reached number one on iTunes' domestic and international electro charts. At the end of 2012, she made her first appearance on the Red and White Song Battle.
