Jil Sander's Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection was unveiled at Milan Men's Fashion Week. Based on the keywords "lyrical masculinity" and "gentleness," the collection offered a clean style characteristic of Jil Sander. The silhouette emphasized vertical lines and controlled volume. Slim suits cinched at the waist and straight-lined coats were typical of this season, with lapels and buttons positioned slightly higher to create balance. Double-breasted tailored coats, pleated ankle-length trousers, and handmade leather boots were paired with military-inspired details like oversized collars. Warm materials such as coated fabrics, felt, sponge thermo corduroy, and flannel were used. Deep pine-needle greens, cobalt blue, and Russian red added a touch of color. The designs are also impressive, with trompe l'oeil details and designs that combine different materials and colors like a puzzle to create rhythm, such as pinstripes and check patterns.
