Y's is introducing a suit line for career women called "Y's Exclusive." The debut collection for Spring/Summer 2013 features a lineup of jacket, pants, and skirt sets, shirts, and shoes. Prices range from around ¥90,000 to ¥140,000 for business suits. Sales will begin on Friday, February 22nd at select Y's stores, including Isetan Shinjuku, Matsuya Ginza, Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store, JR Kyoto Isetan, JR Nagoya Takashimaya, and Fukuoka Iwataya, with nationwide availability to follow. The creative team at Y's has been working on the line since the Fall/Winter 2012-13 season, marking the brand's 40th anniversary. This new line reflects the Y's concept of "women wearing men's clothes" for working women.

In 2013, Y's will celebrate its 41st anniversary since the brand was founded, and to commemorate this, photographer Kirishima Rowland has photographed 41 people active in various genres, including Ai Hashimoto and Mari Natsuki, wearing Y's clothing. The photos will be on display at the Isetan Shinjuku store from Wednesday, March 6th, the store's grand opening.
