Burberry Ginza celebrated its first anniversary this November. Burberry Ginza opened along Ginza Marronnier Street in 2019 as Japan's first roadside store, built from scratch under a new concept by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci. Inspired by the Burberry flagship store on London's Regent Street, the store features a pistachio-colored facade and an interior dominated by Burberry beige. To celebrate the first anniversary, the store will be releasing limited-edition iconic items from the new Spring/Summer 2021 Pre-Collection that reflect the season's theme. The women's collection features a shirt dress and tote bag with an English rose print inspired by antique gardens, one of the themes of the Spring/Summer Pre-Collection. For men, a limited-edition down jacket will be released, made from house check flannel with zip-off sleeves that can be worn as a vest. The lineup also includes accessories perfect for the Christmas gift-giving season, such as a silk-blend organic wool scarf from "The Love Collection" featuring the seasonal message "LOVE," and the iconic "LOLA" bag made from Italian wool. Many items will be available exclusively at the Ginza store in Japan. Burberry currently operates 46 stores nationwide, including five street-level stores in Ginza, Omotesando, Shinjuku, Shinsaibashi, and Kobe, as well as 28 stores, 10 children's stores, and three outlets.
