The MoMA Design Store (3F, GYRE, 5-10-1 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), a museum shop in Omotesando, will launch the "Henri Matisse: The Cut-Out Collection" on December 26th.
This collection is related to the exhibition of the same name currently being held at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Henri Matisse is a representative 20th-century French painter known as the "Magician of Color." Approximately 90 items will be on sale, including reproductions of his works, related books, and paper cutting goods. The lineup includes items that fans will want to keep close at hand, such as a paper cutting poster created for the catalog of an exhibition held at MoMA in 1951, and a mini notebook featuring the design of "Panel with Mask," which was released in 1947.
