Moncler will open a pop-up store for its Moncler W collection in the fourth-floor event space of Dover Street Market Ginza in Tokyo's Ginza district from November 22 to December 4. The store will feature a selection of new Moncler W items, primarily outerwear. The 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection, now in its third season since its debut, combines materials and special prints inspired by space exploration and Yeti expeditions to create a wardrobe built for the harsh winter. The collection seeks to provide highly protective clothing for men who seek uncharted territory and adventure in extreme locations, isolated islands, and frigid regions. Inspired by images of ice, blizzards, and the movement of waterfalls, the color palette features cool tones like ice blue, navy, and gray. The design, featuring fur from the neck to the head, evokes the image of an animal living in the harsh winter outdoors.
