Aoyama's 246COMMON has been renovated, and the Antenna Cafe app is also available.

Nov 27, 2014

246COMMON, a commercial space in Minami-Aoyama that closed in May 2014, will be reopened as a commercial community space called COMMUNE246. Based on the concept of a "community-based commercial space," 246COMMON featured approximately 20 mobile shops and trailers. It was a popular urban open space that could be used like an open-air market or food court. Meanwhile, the renovated COMMUNE246 will feature 13 restaurants along the road leading from the relocated Jiyu University campus and the shared workspace Midori-so. An air dome will be installed in the center, creating a shared space where visitors can spend their time freely. Stores are scheduled to open in the food cart zone starting in December. The cafe has a unique lineup of cafes, including soy milk smoothie "Ichimame.", craft beer "Seasons Stand by Blue Moon," and Brooklyn-style fries "Brooklyn Ribbon Fries." One of the most noteworthy cafes is "Antenna <> WIRED CAFE," a collaboration between the curated magazine "Antenna" and WIRED CAFE.
