■ "I Don't Know. The Weave of Textile Language" by Richard Tuttle
This is a collection of new sculptures by artist Richard Tuttle, known for his abstract forms, often described as "visual poetry," and rich colors. Renowned for his work utilizing everyday, everyday materials, this latest work features textiles as its central material. The soft texture of textiles and flat surfaces of color allow for a myriad of different expressions, just like paint on canvas. An exhibition of this work was held in two venues, Tate Modern and Whitechapel Gallery in London, in the fall of 2014.
