This is a new photo book by Norwegian-born photographer Ola Rindal, whose popularity is rising in Japan and whose work has appeared in fashion magazines such as Dazed and Confused, Vogue, and Soen, as well as catalogs for Maison Martin Margiela. The landscape photographs were taken in her hometown, a village on the outskirts of Oslo surrounded by mountains. The images are filled with the delicate light of Scandinavia and have a somewhat ephemeral quality, as if capturing even the faint sounds and cool air that are invisible to the eye.
