On August 28th, the fashion mall "LUCUA" in Umeda, Osaka, reopened after a renovation. This renovation involved the remodeling of 58 stores. Seven new stores were opening nationwide for the first time: "Fukusuke," "221 Listia," "Luria 4C," "Rodesco Urban Research," "Sleepy Sleepy," "Viva! Titicaca," and the prepared food store "Boo's Kitchen." Seventeen other stores were opening in Western Japan for the first time, including "Mira Owen," "Sports Lab by Atmos," and "Moomin Shop." As part of the renovation, "Lanvin en Bleu," a women's brand licensed by La Mer, which moved from the second to the fourth floor, sold four limited-edition products. Customers who purchased products on both the 28th and 29th were also given free cookies from "Magnolia Bakery." Magnolia Bakery is a popular New York cupcake shop that has appeared in popular TV shows and movies, including "Sex and the City," "The Devil Wears Prada," "Saturday Night Live," and "Gossip Girl." It first opened in Omotesando, Tokyo, in June of this year, but has yet to reach the Kansai region. This collaboration with an apparel brand and off-site catering are both new ventures, and of course, the first in the Kansai region. The four limited-edition Lanvin en Bleu items include a short-sleeved fleece sweatshirt, a balloon skirt, a canvas tote bag, and a fleece jacket. The short-sleeved fleece features a large grosgrain ribbon sewn into the chest and is priced at ¥14,000. The fleece jacket is ¥16,000, the balloon skirt ¥17,000, and the large and small canvas tote bags are ¥10,000 and ¥7,000, respectively. Customers who spend ¥30,000 or more will also receive a complimentary canvas mini pouch.
