On March 3rd, HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE opened a new store on the second floor of the Hakata Hankyu Department Store in Fukuoka.

The store's interior was designed by product designer Naoto Fukasawa. To create an atmosphere that focuses on the brand's concept of "clothing as a product," new fixtures were designed using the black iron used in the Daikanyama store. The result is a minimalist yet impressive space with a series of simple rectangular boxes.

Established in November 2013, HOMME PLISSE ISSEY MIYAKE is a brand that offers everyday wear for modern men. Utilizing unique pleating techniques, the brand continues to create a new type of daily wear that combines comfort and ease of maintenance using wrinkle-resistant, quick-drying materials.
