Iconic American performance lifestyle brand Cole Haan is pleased to announce a collaboration with comedian and author Hasan Minhaj on a men's footwear line. The Cole Haan x Hasan Minhaj collection combines Cole Haan's innovative technology and meticulous craftsmanship with Hasan's personal and family experiences.
"My father came to America in 1982. He left his home, and I was able to build my own home. He struggled to survive, and we are where we are today," said Hasan Minhaj. "We've woven our story into the fabric of Cole Haan. We hope to inspire people who are rewriting the rules of conventional concepts."
The Cole Haan x Hasan Minhaj collection will be released in two installments, in November and December. In November, Cole Haan's latest collection, which redefines the concept of shoes, will be released, featuring the 4.ZERØGRAND waterproof hiker boots, and in December, the collaboration will be on the Grand Pro Rally Court sneakers. The 4.ZERØGRAND offers excellent comfort with cushioning foam made up of three different hardness levels, flexibility thanks to deep, soft grooves, and the use of TPU material in the outsole makes it both lightweight and durable.

Every style in the limited edition collection pays homage to Hasan's Urdu background, with the words "Live" and "Survive" inscribed on the tongue and the insole marking the date Hasan's career truly took off - October 9, 2014, when he landed his first major TV role.
Hasan commented, "October 9th, 2014, is an amazing date for me because everything changed after I auditioned for Jon Stewart. I incorporated that gratitude into the collaboration. October 9th may not be a special day for most people, except for your birthday, but it happens to be National Sneakers Day, so it's clearly fate."
Cole Haan also enlisted the help of streetwear legend Jeff Staple and his creative agency, Lead Art Department, who advised on the collaboration. Jeff Staple's years of experience and deep knowledge of footwear allowed him to help express and realize Cole Haan and Hasan's shared vision.
