Nike will begin selling the Nike Air VaporMax (20,000 yen), which maximizes the potential of air, on March 26th.

Thanks to the development of new technology, the VaporMax unit integrates the air and its outer layer, allowing it to be used as a standalone outsole. Unlike conventional shoes, the VaporMax's structure maintains its shape while remaining flexible, allowing for more air to be placed directly under the foot, leading to this major breakthrough.

In addition, by reducing the weight and volume of the foam, flexibility and elasticity have been improved without compromising the new midsole structure, resulting in a lighter, more compact shoe. Furthermore, by placing the upper directly on the air unit, the shoe achieves a pillow-like soft feel and excellent rebound. The Air unit is combined with a Nike Flyknit upper to provide support where you need it and further reduce weight.

The VaporMax will be available for purchase on NIKE.COM and at select retailers.
