On February 27th, the final day of Milan Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani presented his Fall/Winter 2017-18 women's collection. The early looks were chic, with muted tones like black and gray. Eye-catching bottoms included long skirts made of lustrous satin with beautiful draping, tie pants with a single piece of fabric, and pleated skirts in the front with pants in the back. Jackets were short and compact, with a downward-cut front and pleated cuffs for a three-dimensional effect. From the middle of the show, the looks began to take on color, with gel tones like amethyst purple and emerald green shining. Patterns were deliberately kept to a minimum, highlighting the three-dimensionality and sheen of the materials themselves, with luxurious mohair and elegant satin and velvet. Here too, the bottoms were long and voluminous, while the tops were styled compactly to accentuate the vertical I-line. They created a sense of contrast and a feminine curve, giving the pants look an air of sophisticated femininity.

Jewels and sequins were used for decoration. Sometimes pop, sometimes poetic, they exuded a delicate beauty like a painting, and the final look, an all-sequin dress, was a stunning culmination of the collection.
