
As the second installment of Barneys New York's "HAVE A POP CLASSICO HOLIDAY" Christmas campaign in collaboration with Yuming (aka Yumi Matsutoya), original items by ANREALAGE will be released.
Inspired by the theme of Yuming's latest album, "POP CLASSICO," "breaking the classics, advancing and elevating them," ANREALAGE designer Kunihiko Morinaga designed items with the alphabetic motif of "POP CLASSICO." In addition to women's fashion items such as a coat (87,150 yen), skirt (49,350 yen), and pants (46,200 yen), original gift items such as a tote bag (5,250 yen) and bear charm (3,780 yen) will also be released. This approach was used in the 2006-07 Autumn/Winter collection. Additionally, there will be five limited edition remade dresses (priced at 525,000 yen) made by cutting approximately 100 of Yuming's past tour T-shirts into 2cm widths and carefully hand-sewn together. They will be available for purchase from the 8th at Barneys New York Shinjuku, Ginza, Yokohama, Kobe, Fukuoka stores, and online store. "Have a Pop Classico Holiday," a collaboration with the world of "Pop Classico," will run from the 8th of this month until December 25th. The first wave of the event will feature T-shirts designed with a Yuming motif by the creative group XEROSEN and photographer Leslie Kee.
