Fashion designer Suzuki Takayuki and four musicians teamed up for a three-night performance, "A Circus of Sound, Fabric, Light, and Cuisine," fusing clothing, music, and dance. The final night saw the unveiling of Suzuki Takayuki's Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Triangular flags and fabrics hung from the ceiling of the venue, restaurant CAY, creating a "gypsy circus"-themed atmosphere. A sewing machine was placed in the center, surrounded by the band's instruments. The audience was treated to original Asian cuisine created by CAY's head chef, Shunji Morikawa. The show consisted of two parts. In the first, Suzuki demonstrated improvisational sewing using a sewing machine, accompanied by music and shadow puppetry. Massive amounts of tulle and off-white fabric were cut, sewn, and tied, then draped around the bodies of the musicians as they performed. In the second part, the live performance continued in the same style as the first, while dancers performed wearing Suzuki Takayuki's SS14 collection. Natural-toned tiered dresses and trench coats made from linen and tulle, cropped sarouel pants, and mannish black jackets were among the pieces on display. "I planned this show so that people could experience the moment something is born and the energy that goes into creating it, and take it home with them. The content was mostly improvised, and I think we were able to create something great thanks to the staff who created the venue and the people who came to watch," said Suzuki.
