FACETASM has unveiled its 2014 Spring/Summer collection. The theme is "EMPATHY." Designer Hiromichi Ochiai explained, "I designed it with a 'town feel' in mind." The first look was a pure white cotton dress for women, with decorative details on the front and a large ribbon around the waist, creating a three-dimensional effect. The men's collection began with his signature layered style, combining a black jacket with an apron and shorts. The women's collection featured skirts and shorts made from men's fabric, with slits revealing pure white ruffles, oversized jackets and see-through MA-1 jackets, men's dress shirts with bow ties, and quilted skirts. "The admiration that men have for women and women for men," says Ochiai, "was expressed as if they were crossing each other." The women's collection has a stronger masculine and street-style feel, narrowing the gap with the men's. The men's "apron," the brand's signature, "expresses the unique sexiness of the working man," says Ochiai.

The yellow and black checkered items are styled by layering see-through material of the same pattern, or by changing the shade of the top and bottom. For feet, they wear strap shoes with ruffles, opera shoes with fringe, and desert boots.

The kitschy accessories, including hamburger bangles, were created by the creative group "magma," with which the brand collaborated at a pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku in September.
