Kenzo to open toilet paper collaboration shop at Isetan Men's

Oct 24, 2013

The KENZO 2013 Autumn/Winter advertising campaign was created in collaboration with art magazine TOILET PAPER and features actress Rinko Kikuchi as a model. A pop-up shop featuring the visuals has opened on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. It will be open until November 5th.

The shop will carry collections featuring the brand's new 2013 Autumn/Winter icon, "EYE," as well as motifs such as "cloud" and "flying tiger" patterns, as well as popular sweatshirts, T-shirts, and iPhone cases. The sweatshirt, featuring a Stars and Stripes print and 3D embroidery of "EYE," will be available exclusively at Isetan, the pop-up shops at Opening Ceremony, and Omotesando GYRE, and the gray version is exclusive to Isetan. Toilet Paper was launched in 2010 by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari under the art direction of Micol Talso. In June 2013, an image of Toilet Paper appeared in the window of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, sparking a collaboration with Kenzo.
