Building Blocks exclusive shop opens at Optitude. Tassel class held.

Nov 7, 2013

A pop-up store for accessory brand BUILDING BLOCK will be open at Cottage by OPTITUDE in Aoyama, Tokyo, from November 16th to December 1st.

To coincide with the opening, designers and founders Kimberly Wu and Nancy Wu will be visiting Japan. Three tassel-making workshops will be held on the 16th, starting at 1:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:00 PM. The cost is 3,500 yen, and reservations can be made by phone.

BUILDING BLOCK was founded in Tokyo by the Los Angeles-based Wu sisters. Using high-quality materials and structural techniques, they create collections that resemble furniture and buildings. This season, they have released shoulder and clutch bags as well as tassel items made from leather and wood.
