Daimaru Tokyo Store to Host First Department Store Donburi Grand Prix to Decide the Best Donburi

Oyakodon, gyudon, kaisendon...don is a Japanese national dish that continues to be loved by generations. Packed full of delicious flavors in a single bowl, donburi offers endless possibilities when combining rice and ingredients, and continues to evolve as a gourmet dish. Daimaru Tokyo is hosting its first ever "Department Store Donburi Grand Prix," in which each shop in Hoppe Town will enter their most creative and original donburi, with the winners determined by the number of units sold. There will be a total of 26 types, with a wide variety of choices, including meat, seafood, and Western food! There will also be a "Triple Donburi" campaign, where you can win the top three donburi!
*The results of the Grand Prix will be announced in stores from December 2nd.
