Burberry has released a series of images celebrating the brand's iconic cashmere scarves. Burberry scarves are an essential part of the brand's DNA, built on a deep connection to the Scottish artisans who create them.
The making of a cashmere scarf requires as many as 30 steps. The cashmere yarn is woven on traditional looms, washed in local spring water, and meticulously brushed to finish. Every step of the process requires exceptional artisanal skill.
To bring about positive change in the cashmere industry, Burberry has partnered with organizations including the Sustainable Fibre Alliance, which works to restore grasslands, protect animals, and support the livelihoods of goat farmers. At the same time, the Burberry Foundation is working with NGOs on a variety of issues to build a more sustainable and inclusive cashmere supply chain.
Burberry offers a wide range of Nine Up cashmere scarf designs, from the brand's iconic House Check series to the new Autumn/Winter collection. Personalization services are also available in select stores and online.
