Since day and night in the Arctic had to be determined by observing the position of the sun, it was a 24-hour model that could withstand extremely low temperatures.

The Navigator ARCTIC features a highly visible dial, a durable steel case, a large, stable face, and the reliable Russian movement 2432. In addition to the standard display, ARCTIC models are equipped with a 24-hour display, which is particularly important in the Arctic Circle. In conditions where there is no sun, a disk in the center depicting a map of the North Pole rotates to indicate day and night. The disk color varies depending on the model, and is depicted in a variety of colors.

The design inherits the ARCTIC model used in the 1950s, bringing it back to life with some modern adjustments. The face features globe-inspired lines, also used in the original model, and the font used to display the time remains the same as it was back then. The hands use arrow-shaped hands to display the time more accurately, and the 24-hour display features a red triangle mark for improved visibility.
