On November 15th, Via Bus Stop Museum in Daikanyama, Tokyo, announced the launch of a collaboration line with French brand DEVASTEE, called "DEVASTEE POUR MUSEUM." DEVASTEE designers Ophélie Clair and François Aralley visited Japan and presented their 2014 Spring/Summer collection, which they unveiled in Paris, at an event held at the store that day. DEVASTEE POUR MUSEUM's lineup includes cutlery, stationery, accessories, and more. Both designers stated, "As more ideas emerge, we'd like to continue actively releasing more items." The theme of the 2014 Spring/Summer collection was Aoyama Cemetery in Minato Ward. The collection featured outfits that highlighted the contrast of materials, including a T-shirt printed with "I Love (Heart Mark) Aoyama Cemetery," a jacquard jacket with metallic-colored thread, an airy georgette blouse, a soft gauze top, and thick knit pants. The performance was a typical Devaste performance, a mix of black humor and wit. The two said, "Due to the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, we had been wanting to go to Japan for a while but were unable to do so. We were finally able to make it in May of this year, and felt very comfortable when we landed at Narita Airport. Although Japan looks different from France, I think there are some similarities. Even with something like a gravestone, the shapes are different in Japan and France, but both have their own charms."
