The VIA BUS STOP MUSEUM in Daikanyama, Tokyo, is hosting a special display by French interior goods brand IBRIDE. The exhibition will run until the end of May.
The display was coordinated by the designer himself. Red animal-shaped bookshelves are displayed to catch the eye of the store's large openings. At the entrance, a two-meter-tall bear-shaped bookshelf called "FURIOUS JOE" towers, as if bursting through the glass wall and leaping upward. Next to the central staircase on the first floor, "FLYING YUAN" tableware is on display, appearing to fly in the air. Additionally, the wall leading to the basement is covered with "VISCONTI" plates featuring a portrait of a cat as the main character. Each display item is available for purchase.
Hybrid is a miscellaneous goods brand created by three people from different industries: art director and architect Rachel Convers, designer and architect Benoit Convers, and editor and business manager Carine Jannin. In 2009, they unveiled their animal furniture series in Milan and Paris, which quickly drew attention. In addition to their original products, they have collaborated with many other companies, and in 2010 they designed the perfume box for Kenzo.
