Even if you're not a gun enthusiast, you've probably heard of Italian firearms manufacturer Beretta, and its apparel is garnering attention. Sightron Japan became the brand's import agent in Japan in 2009, and the brand began selling firearms and related products. The hunting jackets, released each season at gun shops, toy gun shops, and online stores, sell out every season, especially among military and airsoft fans. This season, the brand is further strengthening its offerings as a serious item that appeals to hunters, active outdoor enthusiasts, and casual users interested in outdoor fashion. The new hunting jacket model, the Man's Dynamic Pro Jacket, will be available from late November and is heavy-duty, designed for use in the harsh hunting environment. Its many features include waterproofing with Gore-Tex, Beretta's proprietary B-Tex fiber, which is 15 times stronger than steel, a security pocket to protect MP3 players and other items from water, a convenient two-way zipper, and an Easy Grip System that prevents the jacket from slipping off your shoulder even during recoil. Other features, including a hands-free shoulder strap that keeps both hands free even when the jacket is removed and a large pocket on the back, add to its practicality.
Beretta is the world's oldest firearms manufacturer, with a 500-year history. Founded in 1526 by Bartolomeo Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia, the company began producing traditional competition guns and has since expanded to sell a wide range of accessories and apparel for hunting, clay pigeon shooting, and outdoor activities. The company's pistols are supplied to the Italian military, Italian police, and many other countries, and its competition guns are used in numerous international competitions. While apparel has a long history, much like its guns, it only began expanding overseas in the 1990s.
