rag & bone has released its first clutch bag, "The Pilot Clutch." This new addition to the "Pilot Collection" bag line, which launched last season, is available exclusively at its flagship stores. Crafted from Italian leather, it features military-inspired plates and rivets and a cotton canvas lining. The leather strap is detachable, allowing it to be used as a shoulder bag. It retails for ¥69,300. The canary yellow color is exclusive to the Omotesando store. The brand opened its first overseas store in 2010, opening a branch at Isetan Shinjuku in March of this year and a third store at Tamagawa Takashimaya in April. The brand has identified expanding its shoe and bag lines as a key part of its global business expansion strategy, and plans to release a tote bag from the Pilot series in the future.
